    The Adoption Promotion and Support Services is part of a continuum of care consistent with the PCFS Shared Core Practice Model, which ensures that the physical, emotional, social and educational needs of children are met in a safe and nurturing environment. DCFS and with community-based contractors seek to provide adoption-focused specialized services when adoption is in the best interest of the child or non-minor dependent.
