Remaking the Discarded: Papermaking and Collaborative Installation will take place at CSUN during the 2023/24 academic year. It is a multifaceted project consisting of visiting artist lectures, papermaking and public art installation workshops, the EVAC Project veterans and artists collaboration exhibition shown in the CSUN West Gallery, and a culminating public artwork comprised of manipulated handmade rag paper, created by both CSUN students and community members. Service learning will take place through community engagement during the creation of the site-specific art installation.
